The Princess Hotel Blackpool, Blackpool

The hotel is excellently located, close to the promenade and pleasure beach. The rooms were immaculate, modern, and stylish, although being on the top floor could be an inconvenience at times. The service, while achieving standards worthy of 4 stars, fell short with rudeness and a focus on booking money. The dining, while spot on and filling, lacked variety, and the breakfast portion seemed small. The location, though quiet and away from noise, did lack a bit of atmosphere. Complete with contemporary furnishing and friendly owners, it offers a prime location for exploring the area.

The hotel room wasn't worth the £110 we paid for it as there was mould in the bathroom and the carpet wasn't very clean. However, the room had fresh bedding, towels, TV, a separate bathroom, and drinking facilities. We had to wait a bit, so we decided to grab a pint at the nearby pub.
